"mail" module mailings by e-mail - answer page when data are sent

after constructing the send data form , as indicated in the previous chapter, the steps in creating the reply page that sends the mailing of e-mail notice and shows the results of the operation are described below. To complete the process, the steps in constructing an e-mail notice are described in the following chapter.

the steps

0.0.- in DreamweaverŽ open a PHP GenB dynamic page with the name of the file indicated on the data mailing form (see previous chapter) and go to the "Mail" object palette.
1.0.- click on the item: "Mail: Initialize answer detail" (initialize answer).
1.1.- enter the parameter requested by "Mail: Initialize answer detail":

NOTE: initialization of the answer page tells the system whether an e-mail answer is required The answer page/s may be sent to sender/issuer (if a valid e-mail in the field name "Email" is sent) and to one or several preset addresses for receiver/manager/s.

work with the parameters described in points 1.2 to 1.6 for e-mail notification:

1.2.- Sender email subject: the subject that appears in the e-mail sent to the sender.
1.3.- Sender email answer page: Name and path of the page with contents corresponding to the answer sent to the sender.

NOTE: if notification is not to be sent to sender or there is no "Email" field in the form, leave parameters 1.2 and 1.3 blank.

1.4.- Receiver email address: Receiver e-mail for internal notification. To indicate multiple receivers, separate the e-mails by commas.

NOTE: the first e-mail indicated is used for "mail from" in the notices addressed to the form sender.

1.5.- Receiver email subject: The subject that appears on the e-mail sent to receiver.
1.6.- Receiver email answer page: Name and path of the page with the content corresponding to the notification sent to the receiver.

NOTE: contents/data sent can be worked with on the answer page to construct a mailing answer report. Repeat steps 2 until all the fields in the report or answer view have been inserted:

2.0.- to show the content of the fields, click on the item: "Mail: Field data".
2.1.- enter the name ("name" attribute given the field in the form) of the field of which you want to show the contents

once the reply page has been constructed, in the next chapter the option for constructing the e-mail notification page/s is described. The answer page/s can be sent to sender (if a valid e-mail address in a field with the name "Email" is sent) and one or several addresses for receiver/manager/s...
