in order to pass the enrollment process of any of the GenB reseller modalities, the only requirement is to accredit a company (or independent professional) involved in web development projects (your corporate web should credit this).

if you are at home in the DreamweaverŽ MX or DreamweaverŽ MX 2004 environment, have a good grasp of HTML, and are willing to learn some new "Site Management" things, then you will do fine with GenB. The majority of the work is done for you already with the GenB extensions.
there will be some set up required, as with any dynamic application, such as setting up your site in Dreamweaver and your data templates in "GenBnet". This is all pretty easy and well documented in the documentation.
if you found all the functionality you need is already built into GenB extensions, and you aren't in need of major additions, you should find GenB extremely easy to use!
how to get an UID?
in order to obtain an UID, it is necessari to subscribe to one of the GenB service modalities you can find in contract & pricing. After applying for a GenB subscription, inte e-mails all the necessary data to configure its work environment in "DreamweaverŽ" and to access the various services contracted.

- if we open a new document, it is necessary to choose a "PHP GenB" - "dynamic Page".

The "data model" is generated from the online manager genbnet (the GenB web content manager intranet). Genbnet is used as - your user friendly environment - to creat the structure of data, manage this data structure, ...
The "data model" is always seen and managed from genbnet, the goal of this GenB service is to reach the "zero programming", doing totally transparent the creation and administration of the database!
